Scientists in Argentina have discovered a new dinosaur which they believe may be a "missing link" between the giant long-necked Sauropods and their smaller bipedal ancestors. The new species has been name Ingentia Prima, meaning 'Huge first' and its discovery may explain how small bipedal dinosaurs evolved into giants.
The fossil also gives clues to how this particular dinosaur was able to grow so fast: it had a birdlike respiratory system which enabled the body to absorb oxygen quickly.
