Something that really interests me about Dinosaur art, is the way the landscapes are depicted. Like this here showcase it seems incredibly similar to modern climates, barring the silly number of erupting volcanos.
I would love to know how geologically and environmentally different the Dinosaurs landscapes were, compared to today. How would trees, and brush look? Land formations and vegetation etc.

Back in dino times, the weather was much warmer than it is today. For most of the Mesozoic, the dominant land plants were cycads, ferns, conifers and ginkgo trees. Herbivorous dinosaurs, like Stegosaurus and Brachiosaurus, would have fed on these plants. During the Cretaceous, flowering plants and grass had started to evolve.
As for the landscapes, there were volcanoes, wetlands, deserts, forests, open plains, shallow seas and deep oceans. However, most of today's mountain ranges didn't exist.
